HTML/CSS Adaptation for Mobile Browsers

This project involves adapting a simple website so it can be optimally viewed with several mobile browsers including the iPhone and other PDA/Smartphones (ie Palm Treo, Blackberry, & Windows Mobile).

The requirements include:

• Creating one or more mobile css stylesheets that will be utilized when the user accesses the site from a mobile device.

• Integrating this with standard webpage without changing the appearance when viewed on standard sized screens. (ie. this project does not involve the creation of a separate site for mobile users)

• Incorporating the means for the site to detect the user's device and trigger the appropriate style sheet (ie. links in head, javascript, other).

• iPhone compatibility and style optimization important.
